Rajecke Teplice is among the most attractive and famous of Slovak spas, being like a pearl surrounded by a wreath of coniferous and deciduous forests. To the east it is bordered by a panorama of the magnificent Malá Fatra mountain range, with the bizzare rock formation of the dolomite limestone of the Strážov peaks directly over the spa to the west.
The Teplica basin has a mild climate which, according to Swiss classification, is among climatic conditions that produces a calming effect. It has sufficient sunlight without summer heat waves, refreshing breezes without strong winds, and propably most valuable of all, exceptionally pure air quality with minimum pollution and dust.
The acratotherm thermal springs have great healing effects thanks to the fact that the water has temperature of 38°C. The facilities of the spa include the most up to date diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, with patients being taken care of by a qualified team of specialist physicians and healthcare workers.
The whole organisation of stays, accommodation, catering, physical activities, relaxation and the cultural programme, are all compliant to the treatment programme of the both patients and guest alike.
